Billy Madison lives the good life. He lies by the pool day in and day out, drives a golf cart around the premises of his father’s mansion, and he even has a penguin for an imaginary friend. He’s never had to worry about anything; until now, that is.
It was always in the cards for Billy to take over his father’s multi-million dollar hotel empire upon his retirement. But let’s be real here. Billy isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, the only reason he graduated high school is because he paid his teachers. So it’s no surprise when his father hands the business to a more qualified candidate. Outraged by his decision, Billy proposes an offer to prove he has what it takes to run the company.
He will repeat grades one through 12, spending two weeks in each grade. If he finishes, the company is his. If not, the jerky, weasel-like Eric Gordon will be the new head honcho of Madison Hotels. So it’s “Back to school, back to school, to prove to dad I’m not a fool…”
Can he do it? Or will the distraction of his “soooo hot” 3rd grade teacher Veronica Vaughn kill his concentration? Too bad we all can’t go back to grade school. Remember how good cafeteria food was? Maybe not so much, but this sloppy joe recipe will really take you back to the good ol’ days. Just make sure to make them extra sloppy.
