In the male-dominated news world of the 1970s, Ron Burgundy is San Diego’s number one anchorman. But he better watch his back, because when ambitious reporter Veronica Corringstone enters the newsroom, that’s all about to change. At first, Burgundy sees his female competition as no competition at all. After all, her only assignments are cat fashion shows, cooking and other “female” topics.

Burgundy and his crew of insensitive anchor buddies treat Corringstone like a cocktail waitress at the Gentlemen’s Club, making sleazy remarks and dropping lines like there’s no tomorrow.

Unfortunately for Burgundy, Veronica won’t stand for being treated like eye-candy, especially when it comes to her profession and passion. It’s not long before she demands hard news coverage and is given the chance to prove herself worthy. With Corringstone getting more and more recognition, it’s only a matter of time before the newsroom turns into a battlefield.

For Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corringstone…It’s ON.

Check out this beef and bean burrito recipe, eaten by Ron Burgundy himself. But if you’re planning on eating it on the go, keep your pets close by. You don’t want to lose your companion to an angry biker. Ron wasn’t so lucky.
